Meet the Community team

By lright posted 11 days ago

Hello everyone! I'm Lydia (@lright)I've just officially joined the Communities team here at HPE as Senior Community Marketing & Operations Manager, and I'm thrilled to be here!

Who am I? I am a marketer (😱 scary, I know) with a background in development and programming and a love of organization and minimalism (and fantasy 🧙 and sci-fi 🛸) that I've brought into operational roles. I'm also an Aruba Networks veteran, having started back in 2012 as our webmaster. I've have been involved with the Airheads Community on and off for years - you may even have seen or met me at Aruba Atmosphere or HPE Discover Las Vegas. Having previously managed the Aruba, Instant On, and other websites, I've always had a passion for good UX. I like to think that my technical background and the close connection to our visitors has helped us ensure that all of YOU out there have the best experiences possible when navigating any of our websites. Now, I'm hoping to take that a step further and connect with all of you more!

If you haven't already met the team, now's your chance!

Jamie (@Jamie Eyou all know and love. He's been our Community Manager since 2015, keeping everything running smoothly, bringing you forums and features you've asked for, and connecting in person at Aruba Atmosphere and HPE Discover events around the world. He's basically Obi Wan 😉

Cherie (@cheriemartinis our Captain Janeway and inspiring leader of the HPE Networking Communities as Head of Technical Communities & Programs. With deep expertise spanning enterprise network technologies, product and program management, solutions marketing, and channel engagement, she expertly guides our team’s mission. Cherie is committed to sustainability and community impact. She's also a literal rock star! 🤘🎸 Read more about Cherie here https://community.hpe.com/t5/networking/balancing-passion-career-and-making-a-sustainable-impact-at-hpe/ba-p/7219048

And don't miss our summer blockbuster this year - we'll have an intern joining us soon to bring fun new programs to Airheads Community. We'll be sure to introduce them too.

We have some great stuff planned for Airheads this year, and I know it's going to be a fun ride. So reach out, let me know what you think, what you'd like to see around here, and I'll do my best to deliver. 🖖
