    Is it possible to save automatically configuration of switches with TFTP (or another) ?

    Have you tried ProCurve manager? It has excellent configuration stores, you can compare captures on dates, etc, configure it to save whenever there are changes, it highlights them and all that jazz.

    Worth anyones procurve network in my opinion.

    Does the "free" version given with switches have this functionality ?

    The free version doesn't have version handling, thus isn't able to store multiple configurations of the switches. The Plus version does have this feature.
    For a simple "workaround", you could use the "CLI" feature of the free version. That feature allows you to execute commands on multiple switches at once like: "copy running tftp etc..". Although I am not sure you can configure it for a recurring schedule as is possible with PCM+.

    The free version is quite good and the pro version is not that expensive.
