  • 1.  3CR858-91 router reset

    Hi,



    I'm using the 3CR858-91 router. Is there a way to reset the router without using the graphical interface? does the router support command line interface for example?

    1- Power OFF your router.



    2- Disconnect all LAN cables



    3- Loop the WAN port to a LAN port



    4- Power up, wait 15 seconds



    5- Job done, disconenct cables and the router should now be reset to default.

    Hi Sylver,



    It might be a long time you have published this answer but if you still online could please help me. I have tried to reset my router (the same 3CR858-91 model) as in the 3com instructions and your advise (wich is the same) but the router can't be reseted. I do not know if the problem could be that it is configured in a different network than by default (172.28.0.xxx). I used a stright RJ45 cable to reset it, is that ok?



    My problem is that nobody knows it's admin password.
