    I have a situation that a need to connect a HP12900 core switch on a Alcatel-Lucent OS6900 datacenter switch using a 40G multimode optical link.

     

    Im afraid that the HPN tranceiver had a rescriction to operate on thid part switches.

     

    Does HPN tranceivers works on not HPN switches?
