The chipsets used for both platforms have some fundamental differences. As a result the 5GHz radio for the AP-515 supports the full 4 spatial streams when configured for 160MHz channels, while the AP-535 drops to 2 spatial streams in that case.
However, the AP-535 supports 160MHz as "80 + 80", meaning that it can combine 2 chunks of 80MHz spectrum anywhere in the 5GHz band. Those chunks do not have to be adjacent, so it provides some more flexibility. The AP-515 only supports a contiguous slice of 160MHz. There aren't many of those in the 5GHz band.
Keep in mind that this applies to 160MHz operation only, and not many customers will deploy an enterprise network with 160MHz channels in the 5GHz band.
Also, remember that most/all client devices are 2x2 or 1x1 only, so the fact that AP-515 is in 4x4 mode certainly helps 160MHz performance, but only in terms of a more robust link (redundant radio chains) or when using MU-MIMO (rarely supported by client devices, and if so downlink only).

Subject: 515 better performance than 535?
I think I see what your saying. See below
From 515 Datasheet:
Four spatial stream Single User (SU) MIMO for up to
4.8Gbps wireless data rate to individual 4SS HE160
802.11ax client devices (max)
From 535 Datasheet:
5GHz radio: Four spatial stream Single User (SU) MIMO
for up to 2.4Gbps wireless data rate with individual 4SS
HE80 802.11ax client devices
Its the details :) 160Mhz wide channels will be about double 80Mhz wide channels. The marketing info just isn't same same on the documents :)

Subject: 515 better performance than 535?
Hi
Thinking of replacing a bunch of IAP 225 RW:s for newer APs in the 5xx series.
If you go to https://www.arubanetworks.com/products/wireless/access-points/indoor-access-points for comparison and choose "Performance/Density" HIGH, you get suggestions of 510 and 310 series. If you instead choose Performance/Density" VERY HIGH, you will have suggestions of the 530 series.
From that I draw conclusions that 530 series is a better series than 510 when it comes to performance.
Now… Looking at the below….
aruba-ap-535-rw.pdf
Maximum datarates of 2.4Gbps in the 5GHz band and 1,150Mbps in the 2.4GHz band (for an aggregated peak rate of 3.55Gbps)
ap-515-80211ax.pdf
Maximum datarates of 4.8 Gbps in the 5GHz band and 575 Mbps in the 2.4GHz band (for an aggregated peal data rate of 5.4GHz)
Here it seems 515 is better than 535 from an aggregated bandwidth perspective.
What am I missing here?
Please enlighten me.
Tnx
Peo
