    Can the 14 SFP+ 10GbE ports compatible with SFP?Meaning to say, I use HP X124 1G SFP LC SX Transceiver (JD493A) to slot into the 14 SFP+ 10GbE ports of 5820-14XG-SFP+ Switch with 2 Slots (JC106A).

    A good vendor should describe them as SFP/SFP+ ports if you can.

     

    Thinking back, I think I was able to use 1Gb SFPs in SFP+ ports, but I can't remember which switch model - might have been a 5406.

    I don't have access to a 5820 right now or I would test it myself....sorry
