  • 1.  5900 switch - tagging Vlan 1

    Hi All,

     

    I am trying to setup a HP 5900 switch.  I am running into a small issue of trying to tag vlan 1.  Why can’t it be done?  I can tag all my other ports but this one.  Do I need to turn something off first?

    On the trunk link you should change the PVID other than 1 first and than tag vlan 1.

     

    port link-type trunk

undo port trunk pvid vlan 1

port trunk pvid vlan 99

port trunk permit vlan 1
