Does anyone know if I can connect a pair of 5900's to a pair of 5800's using the JG331A - HP X240 40G QSFP+ to 4x10G SFP+ 5m Direct Attach Copper Splitter Cable ? The 5900 would use the 40G side and the 4x10G would be split between the (2) 5800's to create a combined 40G aggregation link. I am looking at using this type of cable but was not sure if it is compatible between switches in this manner.
