I need to upgrade 6300 VSF stack

Current  active image is primary

I am going to do this way:

• copy image from tftp server to secondary
• reboot stack using  - boot system secondary

is there anything else to consider?

Make sure you "allow unsafe updates", there might be firmware devices to update as well, you haven't what ver you're currently running and what ver you are upgrading to.

You can check the images, with the command "show images". 

I would recommend copying your 'working' image as secondary with the command 'copy primary secondary'

This will set you're working firmware as secondary and it's logic to have the operating in the primary for me (altough it doesn't matter :) )

after this you can upload your new firmware to the primary
