    Hello,

I checked out this fundamental ZTP using USB to create usb stick (fat32 Kensington 16G usb2.0 stick) and created suggested file structure into it with basic config.cfg data for each serial numbers.

I thought this will be easiest basic onboarding ever but naturally I celebrated victory AGAIN TOO EARLY!

Yeah I noticed that fundamental is for 6000-6100 but while os should be same for every model I assumed that this should work ok but computer says no....

How do I have to change file structure to do ZTP from usb (no internet or separate servers onsite)?????

    ZTP using USB
AOS-CX supports EXT4, FAT-16, and FAT-32 USB file systems for ZTP. To perform zero-touch provisioning via USB, the image and config files should be in one of the following folders on the USB device. The file with extension . swi is recognized as an image file and the file with extension .

I don't understand your problem in detail? Could you please clarify what exactly your problem is and how your file structure looks like on the USB stick?

In addition I can recommend to watch the comphensive Video on YouTube for this feature:

Problem is that with 6300 series it seems that ZTP from usb does not work at all!

My usb stick has fat32 format (MBR check)

In root directory of usb stick there is AOSCX folder which includes 34 folders named as serial number of switch and last there is ZTP folder inside "sn-folder" which includes config.cfg file containing proper cofinguration for switch... First three folders in screen capture below contains swi firmware and and are not important.

As far as I know I should be good to go, right?

Last monday I tried to initialize ztp several times resetting/erase zeroize switch just in case but nothing seems to happen after reboot..
Maybe 5 minutes after reboot I logged in (broke factory configuration status of switch) and checked out "sh ztp info" which reported "N/A" to all aspects and usb was not mounted.

I though that usb stick had problem but I succeeded to move configuration from usb to startup-config by using  "usb mount" and "copy usb:/aos..../config.cfg startup-config" so I think usb is ok.

Trying again with windows formatted usb and triple-checked directory and still no luck:

    6300# sh ztp inf
    TFTP Server                         : NA
    Image File                          : NA
    Configuration File                  : NA
    Status                              : NA
    Aruba Central Location              : NA
Alternative Aruba Central Location  : NA
Aruba Central Shared Token          : NA
    Force-Provision                     : Disabled
    HTTP Proxy Location                 : NA
    6300# sh usb
    Enabled: Yes
    Mounted: No
    6300# sh logg -r|include ztpd
    2026-02-19T07:44:24.550727+00:00 6300 ztpd[3602]: Event|8701|LOG_INFO|UKWN|1|ZTP service has started

After manual usb mount I succeeded to copy configuration to switch:
    6300# copy usb:/AOSCX/VN5AM3R1YC/ZTP/config.cfg startup-config
    Copying configuration: [Success]
    6300# copy startup-config running-config
    Copying configuration: [Success]
    krf-xxxxxx-xx-xx#

    ****!
