I'm struggling to troubleshoot an issue with pause frames. We are looking to deploy media devices (airtame 2) to classrooms that utilize miracast over infrastructure. When I go to stream from a device, it seems to connect but then content does not display properly. Looking at the interface statistics, the pause frames sky rocket. Looking at the client the UDP traffic is averaging around 20mbit/s, the same traffic stream appears on the switch port. I do not see any link saturation. I changed QoS settings and no change - enabled flow control on the switch port connected to the device and no change, moved the SVI from an adjacent switch so that it's local and no change. I've taken the same device and connected it to older consumer based hardware and it works fine.

The device does not utilize multicast, but does use mDNS for discovery for chromecast/airplay and that works fine - I've setup mDNS gateway to handle that traffic. I can stream from an iOS devices wired or wireless and the content displays and the pause frames slowly increment so the issue is still there but not noticable on the client. Miracast the setup is completely unsuable.

SVIs are located on a 5406R, clients on 6405, dual 10gbit LAG, smart-rate ports.

I'm at a loss as to where to even look for the issue at this point. Switching is locally managed, wireless is in central, the issue is present whether streaming wirelessly or wired. Any pointers?
