[A5500-EI} all fiber ports offline

    Hello,

    I had a strange problem. On a stack of A5500-EI SFP swtiches all fiber ports were offline, i.e. all corresponding LEDs were off.

    - As the "uplink ports" were TP ports, the switch was accessible via SSH.

    - On the switch I did a "shutdown" and "undo shutdown" on several ports: No effect. No log entry that the inserted SFP modules were found

     

    - rebooting the stack didn´t help

     

    - Removing stacking cables and modules and reboot: nothing changed

    - Deleting *.cfg on the switch and reboot: nothing changed

    - I did an bootrom upgrade with them same btm710 version, which already was on the switches and and upgraded to the latest R2215 afterwards. result: It´s working again

    Has anyone ever had that kind of problems?
