  • 1.  Access Point Rebooted Randomly

    Hi

    I have around 700 AP with diffirent type (103,205,215 & 305), 7220 controller with 6.5.4.6 firmware, all running on Juniper EX series and some DELL switches.
    I have about 9-15 APs at each site. At each of the sites i have a few AP's that reboot randomly 2-5 times per day across all buildings.
    Downtime (according to our monitoring system & Airwave) about 60-90 seconds everytime the AP Rebooted.

    This only happens during the day.

    Everytime i checked for Access Points reboot reason on controller, its always say "Reboot Reason: No reboot message found".

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Try to move the access points that keep rebooting to a different switch. No reboot reason normally means that the power was cut.
    Are those access points using POE?  You can also check the logs on switch.

    Yes i already checked PoE log from switches. Aside from PoE and layer 1 cabling, Is it possible that AP rebooted because some misconfiguration on aruba controller?. Because it happens so randomly, some APs rebooted once a week and some almost everyday.
