It's been a long time since I've created a custom Airgroup service and scratching my head if maybe I'm doing something incorrectly or not understanding the newer flow.

Classic Central IAP running AOS 8.13.1

After creating a custom Airgroup Service in Classic Central and then running the command 'show airgroupservice' on the VC, I can see the newly created service, but the 'Service ID' column is blank. When I go back to it in Classic Central, it also doesn't show me the service ID. Am I doing it wrong?

Classic Central: Wireless Group -> Devices -> Config -> Services then choose 'Add New Service'.

Enter the name we want to call the service (chromeos_p2p_update) and the Service ID (__cros_p2p._tcp). Enable it and set no restrictions

On the VC CLI I type 'show airgroupservice' and the following shows (reduced only to the item listed above).

    show airgroupservice

    AirGroupService Table
    ---------------------
    Service              status    service ID                                    Description
    -------              ------    ----------                                    -----------

    chromeos_p2p_update  Enabled                                                 chromeos_p2p_update

When I go back into Classic Central and select the pencil next to it, it doesn't show the serviceID either. The two previous ones that we have added in the past are also showing blank, but those are from back in AOS6 days, way before Central.

I've also tried to setting it at the 'Global' which it is there in Central, but still not seeing that flow down.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Chris
