Is there a workaround or a future firmware/OS release that will support setting administrative distance on the 5300XL platform?
It'll save some problems adding fail paths for some customers that use only L3 switches and ospf (it'll save some money too, cisco is all but cheap!)

I just noticed you can set the administrative distance for static routes on the 5400/3500 series.

I hope that even the 53xx platform will support the administrative distance setting.
