Hi on a second location we have upgrade
ArubaOS (MODEL: 305), Version 8.7.1.0 (build 77203)
ArubaOS (MODEL: 315), Version 8.7.1.0 (build 77203)

After the upgrade all the accespoints are disconnected from the virtual controller.
We can downgrade de VC but we dont have both options at this moment the downgrade for the Hercules and Ursa version.
Because only the VC ArubaOS (MODEL: 315), Version 8.7.1.0 (build 77203) is online.

We have the same problems with the Version 8.7.0.0 (build 75915)

The accespoints are also disconnected form Airwave.
We update the accespoints many times, but never have this kind of problems
Now we have tho location with disconnected accespoints

Apologies, but did all of the IAPs upgrade successfully or not? Did you initiate the upgrade from AirWave and also have the images for the AP305/315 on AirWave as well?

What version of AirWave are you running, did you confirm it supports InstantOS 8.7.1.0?

You may need to power down all the IAPs except 1xIAP305 and 1xAP315. Upgrade both of these APs to the version you require then bringing the remaining cluster online. This will then distribute the correct firmware version to the remaining IAPs.

We update the first location with version Version 8.7.0.0 (build 75915) with Airwave 8.2.11.1.
The second location we update the VC with the ftp option, with the ursa and hercules.

ArubaOS (MODEL: 315), Version 8.7.1.0 (build 77203)

Both location with different update versions and different ways for updating FTP and Airwave.

We will power down al off the IAP's , happy with the switch port documentation ; )
