  • 1.  Airwave 8.3.0.0 to 8.3.0.4

    Posted Jan 21, 2025 09:06 AM

    Hello,
I read the rel. notes but it's still unclear to me - can AirWave 8.3.0.0 be directly upgraded to 8.3.0.4 or are there intermediate steps?

    Hello,

According to the RN it seems that it can do it directly, there is no intermediate step, but I'll check internally to confirm.

    Best Regards

Maybe best to check with support. If I read this, you should upgrade to 8.3.0.0->8.3.0.2 then 8.3.0.2-> 8.3.0.4. But don't know why that is not spelled out. TAC should be able to provide a definitive answer, or just follow what is documented to be supported for sure.

I have asked and it is as Herman says, but if you open a case they will confirm it better, because it is a bit confusing.

Thumb rule in AirWave upgrades is always N+2, except when OS upgrade is needed.

So, from 8.3.0.0, upgrade to 8.3.0.2 and then to 8.3.0.4
