Thumb rule in AirWave upgrades is always N+2, except when OS upgrade is needed.

Maybe best to check with support. If I read this, you should upgrade to 8.3.0.0->8.3.0.2 then 8.3.0.2-> 8.3.0.4. But don't know why that is not spelled out. TAC should be able to provide a definitive answer, or just follow what is documented to be supported for sure.
