Can anyone help identify how the specific enabled parameters in a mgmt-server profile (specifically, a modified one based off of the default-amp profile) for Airwave [AMP] would actually show up in Airwave (specifically AMP 8.3.0.1)?

As an example, I have a modified mgmt-server profile & with it, can point to a different AMP server.

Mgmt Config profile  default-amp (Predefined (changed)) modified-amp
    --------------------------------------------------------
    Parameter Value Value
    --------- ----- -----
    Stats Enabled Enabled
    Stats_Ext Disabled Enabled
    Generic_amon Enabled Enabled
    Tag Enabled Enabled
    Sessions Enabled Enabled
Monitored Info - Add/Update Disabled Enabled
Monitored Info - Deletion Disabled Enabled
Monitored Info - Periodic Snapshot Disabled Enabled
    User_visibility Enabled Enabled
Wireless IDS Event Info Disabled Disabled
    Misc Enabled Enabled
    Location Enabled Enabled
    UCC Monitoring Disabled Disabled
    AirGroup Info Disabled Disabled
    Inline DHCP stats Enabled Enabled
    Inline AP stats Enabled Enabled
    Inline Auth stats Enabled Enabled
    Inline DNS stats Enabled Enabled
    WAN State Info Disabled Disabled
    Inline LLDP stats Disabled Disabled
    AP stats Disabled Enabled
    AP application stats Disabled Enabled
Inline association stats from controller Disabled Disabled

I can see some differences in the Client View table across my 2 Airwave instances.  Namely, the AMP using the modified-amp profile (with the extra parameters enabled), displays a Client's Signal Quality, Speed, and Goodput while the one without those parameters does not.

AMP without additional mgmt-server profile parameters enabled.

AMP with additional mgmt-server profile parameters enabled.

My question is how (and where) would the other parameters (once enabled) show up in Airwave?

I take it that UCC Monitoring would require enabling "Enable UCC Data Collection" in Airwave.

How (& where) does AirGroup (airgroupinfo-enable) messages related to the AirGroup feature show up in Airwave?  Does it matter if AirGroup is disabled on the WLAN?

I suspect that enabling AP Application stats would display a breakdown of Applications in Traffic Analysis...  I believe Web Reputations now requires an additional license.

AMP without additional mgmt-server profile parameters enabled.

AMP with additional mgmt-server profile parameters enabled.

The CLI Bank page on the mgmt-server config parameters has done a pretty decent job of identifying what the parameters enable & hints towards where they might be found in Airwave (i.e. certain Clarity Live statistics).  However, not all of the parameter descriptions provide such hints.   I.E. how & where would monitored-info-* params details show up in Airwave?  Is wan-state information specific to RAPs or Controllers?

How (and where) would the other Mgmt Config profile parameters show up in Airwave?

Do I have to enable them one by one & hunt down changes in Airwave to find out ! ?

    Thanks,

Apart from 'Misc, & 'Tag' , unless you have RFID Tags in your network, everything else should be enabled.

    In short,

stats, stats_ext, sessions, are related to in depth client info.

All the inline_XXXXX stats for Clarity information. clarity data is some AI info about DNS, DHCP, LLDP stats for client troubleshooting. Correlate client info to Clarity data for possible network issues or client disconnects.

Others are self explanatory like AP stats, for AP details. UCC for VoIP call metrics etc.

The reason to have multiple AMON parameters for Client or AP is due to the fact that the features are developed over 8-10 years in AOS and had different AMON packets/data to send. AirWave correlates al the info to show them in detailed format.
