  • 1.  Airwave and 8.x - RF Neighbor reporting

    I've noticed as we've migrated from 6.x to 8.6 that I'm losing RF Neighbor visibility in Airwave - I get "No records available".  Is this expected behavior?  I've found this to be an invaluable tool for remotely assessing AP density when maps aren't available.  Airwave version 8.2.8.2, AOS 8.6.0.9 FWIW.   Thanks in advance.

    Airwave requires turning on Amon to see neighbors.  Did you turn on AMON during your migration? https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_8.7.1_Web_Help/Content/arubaos-solutions/manage-utilities/conn-aw-serv.htm

    You can determine in Airwave if you getting an AMON feed from your controllers by going to Home> System> Performance> AMON Statistics.  If all the AMON graphs are flat, setup Airwave in your MM high in your heirarchy using Configuration> System > Airwave.

    AMON from MM and node heirarchy is needed for proper monitoring AOS 8.x from Airwave. 
    Additionally, enable the option 'Poll local controller for improved Rogue collection' from RAPIDs > Setup Page.
