I have gone through Airwave failover guide but need further clarification how Airwave HA and failover works.

• Does Airwave HA works as Active/Passive or Active/Active. 
• Do I need TWO Airwave machines FOR HA. One Primary Airwave and one Backup Airwave, if not than is there one Airwave machine dedicated for managing airwave HA.
• As per my understanding In Primary Airwave we will configure Backup Airwave IP and it will sync/fetch all data from Primary Airwave at particular time of day.
• We can configure only ONE IP address on Aruba WLC for Airwave. Since backup Airwave will be having different IP, so in case of Primary Airwave failure, how does Airwave traffic will be sent to backup Airwave.  
• Recommended browser for Airwave

I have the same questions as you, have you received any answers to these questions?

• active/standby
• Yes.  The failover AirWave appliance is dedicated to the failover function while the active appliance is operational.
• Failover appliance will copy the backup from the active appliance.  Upon failure detection, the backup is restored and the appliance will start polling.
• Failover AirWave appliance will poll devices, information flow originating from device to AirWave will be interrupted while the failover server is operational.

The purpose of the failover server is to provide a bridge during the appliance failure state.  Return to service should include replacing/repairing the failed appliance and then bringing AirWave back to operation on the same IP address as previous, with the latest backup applied.
