AirWave - Managing HPE MSR Series Routers

    Greatings everyone,

     

    I have about 260 HPE MSR Series Routers spread through out my WAN environment. We are wanting to manage these devices through AirWave, but when we create the device, we are getting the following event:

     

    Wed Jan 3 07:37:01 2018SystemStatus changed to 'Duplicate of device <Device Name> - Both devices report a LAN MAC of 00:00:00:00:00:00'

    Has anyone ever seen this before, or know how I might be able to fix it. I know that the device profile works, because I can have one that works, and if I delete that one, this one would start working.

    It seems that airwave is detecting the same Mac addresses of all 0s for your routers.
    Odd. Mac addresses need to be unique or else this error message will appear.

    How are you discovering the routers?
