Wireless Access

Hi,

I need a help. I have Mobility Controller running OS 8.7.1.7 and Airwave running OS 8.2.13. I have been setup everything including SNMP and AMON between Airwave and Controller. But when i do Client Roaming from AP to another AP, it won't show the data in match events. I have also enable AMON data collection and everything that needs. Can anyone help?
*Note: i'm implementing AP Mesh mode using 5Ghz and for access only using 2,4Ghz

I may be incorrect here but I believe MATCH events only show events where client match had an effect on the client whether it was a band steer or sticky client, etc. potentially not necessarily a standard roam event.

So, how do i  want to see client move from one AP to another AP and see those data in airwave, is it possible? Like such as having client/user name data, moving to which AP and what time it moved

You should be able to see that under Diagnostics> Clarity.
You should also be able to see the "match events" that indicate when client match was triggered for that user.

Hi,

This is the capture of Match Events under Clarity and there's no row available when i do client Roaming (maybe it's because i only setup Band 2.4Ghz for client only and use 5Ghz for implementing Mesh Link? so there are no conditions that makes it trigger). Is there any other way to Monitor Client Roaming like via Syslog or commandline?

*note: don't mind about the dhcp, i'm using static IP for the Access Point
