Dear Experts,

Any idea my Airwave 8.2.10.1 is not showing any application statistics for my connected client. I have checked on instant page, Apprf data is visible there (snapshot attached).

Any idea please?

Airwave: 8.2.10.1

I have enabled traffic analysis visibility under ICG->System but nothing is showing up

Looking at the supported devices for AW 8.2.10.1 it only has InstantOS 8.5.0.2 as listed and nothing else in the 8.5.0.x train.

Just a note, Instant 8.6.0.0 is supported in AW 8.2.10.1 so maybe consider upgrading the IAP to 8.6.0.0 if possible and see if this resolved the problem.

It should show AppRF data in Airwave, IAP 8.5.x is supported version. Just to make sure  have you set AppRF visiblitity to ALL under Configuration>System> General in IAP and also same is been enabled in Airwave IGC ?

Make sure Traffice Analysis data collection is enabled under AMP Setup > General > Additional AMP services.

Run below command from IAP CLI to see if any traffic is been generated

#show datapath session dpi verbose | include <client ip addr>

#show dpi-stats app user

I downgraded the AP to 6.5.1.5. I am seeing AppRF stats on instant dashboard but not on Airwave. Does it take too much time to collect the data? or there might be some other issue?

Have you checked the details which I suggested in my previous post?

Normally it take few minutes to update AppRF data in Airwave.

IAP reports apprf data every 15 to 30 minutes and Airwave need more than one sample of data to update AppRF info in Airwave,

Generate more traffice and allow more time for Traffic analysis data to be get updated in Airwave and make sure Traffic Analysis option is enabled in Airwave under Groups>Basic page.

I tried on IAP-214 running 6.5.4.8 and after waiting for approx 20 minutes, traffic analysis was showing data.

I downgraded 315 to 6.5.4.8 and waited approx for 30 mins, no data at all

Issue looks specific to IAP 315, recenetly we come across similar issue and noticed IAP 315 code 8.5.0.2 is not sending complete AppRF info to Airwave and as a workaround we disabled syslog server option in IAP and aftter that data start populating in Airwave.
