    Hi All,

Just a quick question. When doing a hitless upgrade I understand that the AP's won't reboot whilst a client is connected to it and the client will be moved onto a neighbouring AP.

If there is not a neighbouring AP and the client stays on the AP. what happens. does it reboot anyway or does it just not reboot.

    Thanks,

Yes the AP will reboot if there is a client associated. The AP upgrades happen in groups based on partition assignments that are assigned by AirMatch. AirMatch will create the best plan possible considering coverage. Hitless assumes that the client is in range of more than one AP, and the client will move to that AP when the current one reboots for the upgrade.
