    When will the AP-605H ship?  What code will be on it when it ships?

    AP-605H will ship with 8.12. Minimum AOS 8 and AOS 10 versions required are listed on the datasheets. HPE Aruba Networking 600H Series Hospitality Access Points

    Thanks for the info.   Any idea when 8.12 will be released?  We want to install 605Hs at a major university this summer but will have to go with the 505Hs if 8.12 is not released by May.

    8.12 will be released well before May. Expect to see it by March.

    Just to clarify, the AP-605H will (initially) ship with a manufacturing image that can be upgraded with a full AOS/Instant image in the field.

    The AP itself is shipping "now", in limited quantities. It will take time for actual products to make it through the logistical pipeline, but in theory they should start being delivered soon.

    To operate the product you'll need to upgrade to a full image, 8.12 (or later). 8.12.0.0 should be available "soon".

    I am the partner and I have asked multiple SEs and a couple different account teams and nobody seems to know.  I really need to know when 8.12 will be released because we need to install dorm radios at a major university during the summer and we cannot use 605H's if 8.12 will not be available then.

    Looking at the RN of version 8.12 - support for AP's which were not supported in version 8.11 is back ?!
    is this intended or a fault/mistake in the RN-document ?

    This was likely a copy and paste mistake. I've let the team know and it should be fixed shortly. The 203H, 203R, 207, 320 series, 330 series, 340 series, and 387 are no longer supported starting in 8.11. We did not reintroduce support for them in 8.12.
