    Hello all,

It seems there is no function in Instant for

    1. scheduling a reboot weekly or monthly.
    2. Scheduling a firmware/DRT update.

Or am I missing something, can someone advice....

    Thanks in advance

Why would you want to reboot your APs weekly or monthly? If there is a need to reboot, you would need to find/resolve the underlying problem.

There is with just in the AP / Instant firmware no scheduled firmware/DRT update. You can schedule upgrades through a management platform like Aruba Central or Airwave. Personally I prefer to manually trigger updates, so you know when they happen and you know things changed.

If you want you probably can use automation platforms, like Ansible, Paramiko, Expect, or API calls to do similar things as you can do with Central/Airwave.

    Hello,

    thanks for replying.

The AP seems to disable 6Ghz radio after being on for sometime so I was thinking to reboot it now and then.

I would investigate why the radio shuts down instead of rebooting the AP. Radios (even not 6GHz) should not go down. Unlike some consumer products, where it may be accepted to powercycle/reboot devices, the AP 655 is enterprise grade equipment that should work reliably and uninterrupted.
