    Hi,

Im using 2 Aruba Indoor 325 AP with a v6.4.4.8-4.2.4.18_78941 in my cluster environment, both are configured to act like unified AP if cluster got broken

Network topology be like Firewall >> PoE switch >> AP's for wireless access

I'm planning to upgrade the existing AP's with New Aruba Indoor 535 AP, so 12 Nos of this model AP

I'm trying to configure this new AP before deployment,  since i don't bought any Power adapter for this new AP nor we do have any additional PoE switch hence i connected one new AP to the existing PoE switch,

As default new AP got IP from DHCP release from my FW

When i try to get access into the new AP, Im unable to login in to this new device with default username (admin) and password (serial no of the device) it throws me username, password incorrect error... even i have tried with cluster credentials but it didn't work... any idea why this happened ?

Also Im planning to deploy 12 qty of AP 535, can anyone suggest any PoE switch model for smooth functioning of AP ?

Firstly, if you are planning to add AP-535s to your existing Instant Cluster, then all the IAPs should all be running the same firmware version.

if your current Instant AP 325 are running 6.4.x thats pretty old, you need to upgrade them to 8.6.x or later to support for AP-535s.

make sure both IAP-325s and AP-535s are running exact same firmware version. To do this you may have to just bring up AP-535s in an isolated VLAN so you can upgrade them separately to match the firmware versions running on IAP-325s.

Note that AP-535s do not support being powered by 802.3af (class 3 or lower) . So that means your LAN switch at minimum should provide 802.3at PoE.
