AP134 loss in antenna interface

    Hi,

     

    I see in the spec sheets for the AP134 it says, "Internal loss between radio interface and external antenna connectors (due to diplexing circuitry): 1.5 dB in 2.4 GHz and 3.0 dB in 5 GHz.".

     

    Do these values need to be taken into account when provisioning the AP?  For example, if I have and antenna with gain of 7 dBi on both bands, should I provision the AP with antenna gain of 5.5 & 4 dBi for 2.4 & 5 GHz bands respectively?
