  • 1.  AP303H LAN IP

    Dear Experts,

    I am trying to setup 303H as a typical wireless router. This is specifically demanded by customer. They want to give WAN IP on E0 (which is easy ofcourse) but they also want to give LAN IP (without DHCP). This LAN IP will act as the gateway for LAN users (who will be configured with static ip address).

    Any idea how can i go around giving the LAN IP on 303H? or any other way of approaching this problem?

    Hi,

    You Configure IP address to LAN port using Wire Port Profile in Instant Dashboard.

    Then Advanced ->VPN->Routing Add routes

    Hi Dinusha,

    Where we can configure the IP address in the wired profile? i dont see any
    option to configure ip address

    Hi Owais,

    Seems I know you. any way Aruba doesn't allow to apply an IP address to switch port Interface directly. But You can assign VLAN to switch port and VLAN's L3 interface IP use to your routine. use attached document (from )

    Hi Dinusha,

    Feels the same way here :).

    I saw the attachment but it doesnt provide info on how to configure LAN ip
    address on the IAP. We have to make IAP act like a router here with WAN and
    LAN ip. I can configure the WAN ip on E0 but what about the LAN ip? can i
    give it on any vlan interface on IAP?

    The switch that will be used on these sites will be unmanageable
