The vlan that is on the switch that the wall port is connected to is the correct vlan. It is setup as an access port with the correct vlan applied.
The vlan interface is configured as well and is correct. I even checked lag for the connection between the access switch and our core and it is setup correctly by allowing all vlans.
I tried plugging my computer into the wall port, turning off my wifi, and applied a static ip address to the ethernet port on my computer and gateway. I was not able to ping my gateway.

Hi Russ,
You need to take a look at the switchport settings for that wall port that the switch is connected to.

So, another update on this issue. It could probably be a different thread, but I'll just do it here.
After my boss provisioned the APs, he told me that the APs were not getting onto the correct VLAN that we have set up for them. He is telling me that there is something wrong with the switch that they are plugged into. I do not know why we are having this issue since the switch we are using as a L2 switch has not changed since the last time we provisioned APs and we did not have this issue before. In trying to troubleshoot this I have put the vlan on the switch and made all the ports access ports for that vlan. I do not have the vlan interface configured for the address space we plan to use since we have not decided what network we are going to use.
I do not have access to the controller, so I am not able to see what he is seeing. Any time I plug my computer into the wall port that the switch is connected to I get a different IP address that is not in the correct vlan we want. Any thoughts?

So to give an update. I was able to figure out a solution. When I would try to update or check the drt, the controller would tell me that another upgrade was in process. Since I was not able to get anything from my manager from the controller or help, I rebooted the switch. After everything came back up and going I was able to get them converted. I do not know if the reboot stopped anything that my manager was doing or what but I was able to get them converted. Now its just on my manager to get them provisioned.

Subject: AP635 Convert Issue
Hello all,
I am working on converting 18 635s from Remote APs to Campus APs. These APs are fresh out of the box. Here is what I am doing.
I am logging into one of the APs that then I am assuming electing it as the virtual controller. I follow the steps of going to Maintenance -> Convert on the left had side. I change the drop down from "Remote APs managed by a Mobility Controller" to "Campus APs managed by a Mobility Controller". I put in the IP address of the controller and select convert. The error that I get is below.

The screen then says status unavailable.
To the best of my knowledge and documentation the IP address of the controller is correct. I am waiting on my boss to confirm for me. The APs are currently on version 8.10.0.15_91324 LSR. I thought about updating the firmware, but I believe that will happen when they connect to the controller and get provisioned. I do not have access to the controller that is still managed by my boss.
Any thoughts on where/what I can do to troubleshoot this issue?
