Our APs in a particular group go offline over night consistently? We have 3 APs in our Athletics group and sometime during the night or early morning the APs go offline and don't come back up. They show green lights but users can't connect to them. I've tried different firmware and 2 different AP models 2 655 and 1 555, the 655s are connected to 1 aruba switch and the 555 is connected to a cisco switch, the switches shows that the devices are up and rebooting the switches will bring the APs back online. We see no blocked connections on the firewall as well along with no viable information the events just says ap went offline.

what Aruba switch you have to power up the AP-655s?

also have you enabled IPM for the APs?

Lastly when the APs are in that state, can you console to one of them?

    We're using aruba JL255A switch for 2 655s and Cisco C1300-8T-E-2G with a TRENDnet 10G POE++ injector for the 555 AP.

IPM is enabled and set to 2: Disable_alt_eth       1:disable_usb

I'll have to wait for them to go down to check if I console into them.

655 and 555 are quite power hungry. If you only have a CLASS 4 PoE, then you need two ethernet interfaces to power it for normal operation.

What can you see from show tech-support logs?

What's the output from "show version" on one of the APs?

Could you include the uptime and last reboot reason, please?  That's what I was wanting to see.

Cloud Last connect fail status says DNS error...

Can you login to offline ap and check out "show ap debug cloud-connectivity" if there is some more info about error and to make sure device has proper ip/gw/dns addresses.
Also see if you can ping dns address mentioned there in printout from ap.

They're currently 10.7.2.1_93286 but tried  10.7.2.0_92876 and 10.7.1.1_92045 with the same issues.

since you are  using Aruba Central , it should provide additional info like the cause of reboot and perhaps other alerts.

Did you check Tech Support Dump on AP for clues? Also AI Insights can have provide clues.

Also the last fail reason: dns error could show to some underlying problem in the infrastructure.

For checking the power status you can use

    show ap power-mgmt-statistics
To see AP to Central communication you can use
    show log provision
