    Hi gents,

I have 2x 9004 controllers running ArubaOS 8.7.1.0 managed by a Mobility Master in L2 cluster mode.

After upgrading from 8.6.x.x to 8.7.1.0 only the second controller keep blinking the power and wifi led, but can't figure out what is the reasons.

    • "show switches" both MD's are in sync
    • "show lc-cluster" cluster is L2
    • "show ap" both controllers have 1 AP terminated
    • "show log" no related errors in the logging.

Somebody knowns why the leds blinking and how to stop this.

See attached a image, the leds market are blinking every second.

Sitenote: i don't run sd-branch mode right now, just campus mode

Installation Guide suggests that the Controllers are still booting if the LED is green. I've seen it before where Central has lost connection but this isn't applicable in your case and i'm pretty sure your controllers have booted by now! haha! :)

Only thing I can think of if its related to crash or profile errors. Do you have any Profile Errors (show profile-errors) or any Crash info (show switchinfo/show crash)?

Honestly, this controller is mainly intended for SDWAN software.  There were a few bugs with leds blinking in the ArubaOS software, but they were only patched in the SDWAN software, for what I can see.  There is no workaround for the AOS software, that I know of.  You would have to open a technical support case for them to identify if this is a new or existing issue and then to patch it in AOS.
