  • 1.  Aruba Access Point Rebooting randomly: 'Reboot caused by kernel panic"

    Hi everyone,

    I have noticed this issue every so often in my ARUBA CENTRAL.

    Access Points reboot randomly cause for "Reboot caused by kernel panic"

    Firmware is up to date 8.10.0.7_87023

    can any one explain or share the solution for this issue?

    We're going to need more information to help you. This is a generic error and many things could cause it. Can you copy and paste what the relevant logs say? Otherwise, you'll need to open a TAC case to have them investigate.

    I suggest to upgrade to 8.10.0.9, there was a fix for Kernel Panic which resulted in AP reboots. 

    check the release note for AOS-246617 Bug ID.

    I may need to update the firmware and see if the issue still persists.
