  • 1.  Aruba Central administrator roles to manipulate Device data?

    Hello!

I'm trying to configure role for administrator in Aruba Central who would be eligible remove offline devices from Devices section of Aruba Central. I' following documentation of the link https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/central/2.5.7/content/nms/user-mgmt/cfg-user-roles.htm but it seems I don't find the right combination. Any ideas?

I think Aruba central admin for a particular group can delete the devices that have been unsubscribed from GreenLake platform

Hello, and thank you for the message!

My apologies for being too cursory. The goal is to protect Group-wide configuration setting, that is to say: provide only general, admin-related privileges to these users: privilege to add new devices in correct Group, do read-only troubleshooting etc... and not allow changes to Group configuration (which, according to my understanding is allowed for Group admin). These offline devices are in Devices listing since a Site has been closed, and devices powered off. Also, in case Devices are replaced with newer models we need this privilege to remove decommissioned Devices from inventory.
