  • 1.  Aruba central guest SSID question

    Dear,

    I have created a guest SSID in Aruba central. I am having several issues. The SSID type is cloud guest. the Guest Captive Portal Profile is using profiles created in splash page. The profile is configured to be phone-based with Self-Registration, but now I have a problem, I just register the phone number and log in to access the network. I don't even need to enter the account and password to log in. How can I make it so that after registering I can't access the network but jumping to the account and password login screen. I have tried redirecting to the login screen, but I find that the user is already able to access the network.

    I think, that is the current behaviour when you register for the first time. You should directly get a login button and by clicking on that you'll get access. 

    The other way is to enable sponsored guest option.

    The login screen is there. You can take a look at the attachment. The effect I want is to register a cell phone number, then the built-in SMS sends a random numeric password, and then log in via the phone and the random password before I can access the internet. but as it is now, I can access the internet without even jumping to the login screen after registering. Is there something I need to set up?
