if you want to use controllers/gateways in Aruba Central it has it be AOS10 version,so you need to upgrade your 9240 controller to AOS10
you can always use ClearPass as an authentication server with switches, gateways and APs that are managed by Aruba Central.

we are planning to aruba central on 25 th December we have one doubt
we can have MAC based authentication for Aruba central aos 10 and also we have controller wlc 9240 with this aos current version is ArubaOS 8.10.0.19 is it possible same with central and we are also planning clearpass in another 20 days.
we want to clarify for 1200+ Mac based authentication is possible with central aos 10 with wlc support or go with clearpass I want clarify
