  • 1.  Aruba Central - Network health map showing down devices

    Posted Sep 03, 2025 11:13 AM

    Hello,

When I first log into Central ->Global -> Network health, I see a map of our campus with red and green dots representing health of our Sites.

All my AP are online, but about half the Sites show one or two down "Devices."  If I go to the Site an alert placard show saying down AP possible.

Anyone know how to clear those?

Are those APs down? Or are they up and display down?

If you have the option to switch to 'New Central' for monitoring:

There the display of site status had been improved and you can see easily 'how red' a site is. So a single down AP does color the full site red:

    Hi Herman,

Thanks for getting back to me.  Sorry I didn't delete the post.

It appears it takes some time for those notifications to clear.  The last few APs we deployed took about two-weeks to finally become green.  In that same time I also configured jumbo frames to support the Wi-Fi, so maybe that helped too.  I've got an all-green board just in time for the new school year.
