generally you should not use aruba-central commands (like support mode) for config changes. that command is used for emergency cases.
like any mgmt system, if you have selected Aruba Central for configuration mgmt then it should be the single source of truth and will ensure the confg it think should be on the switch gets synced.
Note that you have a choice to use Aruba Central as monitor only for the switches, where as the name indicates Central will not do any config mgmt.
with CX switches, you can use multiedit which will give you CLI config access to be able to configure multiple switch as the same time. Yes it can be sluggish at times (especially compared to direct SSH access to the switch) which is being addressed in the next update.
You can also use the WebUI of the Group to make config changes like what is hon here.

In addition to putting a switch in monitor-mode, you could just paste your CLI commands in MultiEdit and that will be pushed to the selected switches.
