Depends what you want to achieve.
As standard, i would say:
- Check if Firewall is Enabled
- Check if the Antivirus is Enabled and if it has the latest update/patch
- Check if there are applications running that needs to be blacklisted (example: P2P, Remote Desktop Application like Teamviewer, Anydesk, etc.)
- If you have some applications which are mandatory, add them to the process or registry list
- Etc.
