  • 1.  Aruba Fabric Composer virtualization on Nutanix

    Hi pals,

I'd like to know whether Fabric Composer 7.3.0 can be virtualized on Nutanix.

According to the Fabric Composer 7.3.0 Installation Guide, the Nutanix AHV hypervisor is not listed in the "Supported VM Hypervisors" section. However, later in the same guide there is a section titled "Preparing to Run the ISO for a Nutanix Deployment", which describes the steps to create a VM on Nutanix.

    https://arubanetworking.hpe.com/techdocs/AFC/PDFs/73/AFC73INST.pdf

This seems a bit confusing to me.

Can Fabric Composer 7.3.0 be virtualized on Nutanix or not?

    Thanks for your help

Yes, we can deploy a new Virtual Machine (VM) on a Nutanix AHV to host the Fabric Composer 7.3.0.

Thank you for the feedback. This has been communicated internally to make changes to avoid confusion. I am awaiting confirmation though. But, it makes sense to include this in supported VM hypervisor list as well.

    Have a nice day ahead.
