  • 1.  Aruba IAP 103 - Received no response from server when updating firmware

    Hi everyone,

     

    I just setup an Aruba IAP-103 and attempted to update the firmware, but got an error: "Received no response from server"

     

    One of the resolutions I found on this site was setting up the NTP server but unfortunately this didn't help.

     

    Current version is 6.5.4.14_72510

    Does the IAP have internet access? DNS configured? NTP configured? http / https access to Internet is allowed?

    Hi Ayman,

     

    Thank you for your fast response.

    The IAP has internet access and DNS is configured. Downloading files over http and https works over ssh with the debug-download command.

     

    NTP is also configured and the logs show the correct datetime in my own timezone.

     

    Still get the error message "Received no response from server"

    Hi,

     

    As a workaround, did you try to download the needed firmware manually from support website and upload it to the Instant AP?
