Hello all. I have a redundant Aruba MC setup with a super old version ArubaOS 8.3.0.9. I want to upgrade to 8.10.0.14. I have downloaded the firmware but I want to make sure. Will it work to upgrade directly to 8.10.0.14? Or is there an upgrade path I should take?

You can check the release notes for the version that you are going to upgrade to (note that 8.10.0.15 is also available). Check mostly prerequisites, and the 'free flash requirements'. I don't see a specific minimum release listed for the upgrade. If you have a MM/Mobility conductor, note the N+3 rule, in which case you would upgrade the MM/MCR to 8.6 first, then the MDs/MCs to 8.6, from there MM/MCR to 8.10, then MD/MCs to 8.10. If it's just controllers, I would expect the upgrade to be possible in one step. To be fully sure, or reduce risk, you may work with TAC and get their recommendations.

I think it depends on the controller and the WAPs that you have, but as long as you don't have any 100 or 200 series WAP in your system, it should generally be fine.  Just make sure your MM and MC are supported in 8.10.x.x.  You might have to go via 8.6.x for the upgrade path, but the release notes for 8.10.0.14 (its now 8.10.0.15) will clarify that point.

As @max.eaves already mentioned, there are dependencies to the Hardware which is used. Access Point Types as well as Controller Types. Here is a good Link to a Matrix where you can see the latest supported OS Version for your environment - https://www.arubanetworks.com/assets/matrix/matrix_WLAN-platforms-software-support-matrix.pdf
