I got a remote office out in a yard where it has wifi coverage but the wifi signal does not penetrate into the remote office (metal sea container). What I am looking for is a external wifi receiver that can be mounted on the outside of the remote office and connect it to an indoor wifi repeater/access point to give the remote office wifi coverage.

Does Aruba has something like this and if they do, can someone please link me to the products I need to get wifi into this remote office?

You can setup a mesh network in bridge mode either trunking your network out to the other building, or just extending access layer to the building. Do you have an Aruba controller wireless network now?

Thanks Kell. We don't have an Aruba controller yet, but there is a project to convert current existing network equipment to Aruba. This remote office is currently using a 4G router which is not ideal and the plan is to get coverage into this remote office via this project and running cables to it is costly especially when we are looking at 1-3 devices.

I have been told it is not possible to do this without running cables and Aruba does not have products to resolve this, which I find it extremely hard to believe and this is why I am here.

So what I am actually looking for is Aruba products which we can use to resolve this issue. I am no network engineer but I know my basics about networking.

I suggest you contact a local Aruba dealer they can assist you with what you need. Aruba does make outdoor AP's like the AP-387 could run in instant mode that means controller-less. This AP is designed for mesh bridging gives you high speeds if they are line of sight.

As I stated before you can use 2 AP's to mesh bridge the local network from one building to another where no network exist today. We have done this sometimes we hang another AP off the one being used for the mesh, or we put a switch in the target building so we have POE power for phones. You can also setup redundancy by mesh points can connect to two different mesh portals in the same cluster.
