I should add, mirroring is dependent on the ASIC used so I would expect it to be the same for all members of a family.

Subject: ArubaCX 6100 port mirror Limitation?
Hi, I think this is an error in the doc and it isn't possible on 6100. Here from an example switch on latest code:
Xxxstx3(config-mirror-1)# list
list
(comment) .TEXT
no comment
no destination interface
no destination cpu
no destination tunnel
no source interface (PORT-NUM|LAG-NAME)
enable
no enable
disable
no disable
exit
end
show running-config current-context
source interface (PORT-NUM|LAG-NAME) (both|rx|tx)
no source interface (PORT-NUM|LAG-NAME) (both|rx|tx)
destination interface IFNAMELIST
no destination interface IFNAMELIST
From a larger hardware model:
Xxxstr2a(config-mirror-1)# source vlan
<1-4094> Enter a VLAN number
pbxstr2a(config-mirror-1)# source vlan

Subject: ArubaCX 6100 port mirror Limitation?
Hi all, we have a Packet capture device connected to our Aruba 6100 Switch.
And we want to capture all of our VLAN1 to be mirror to our packet capture device but based on the below screenshot we are only can do it ether interface/LAG.

Even if we are to using interface but only allow to use 4 interface port maximum as source on Aruba 6100.

Based on the Aruba 6100 monitoring Guide @ page 60. It stated VLAN as source but i wasn't able to configure VLAN as source so wondering if it is a limitation on Aruba 6100 to mirror based on either VLAN1 or all interfaces.
