Problem Description
We are experiencing intermittent connectivity issues on our wireless network managed by an Aruba 9004 Gateway running ArubaOS 10.4.
Users report that applications such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom experience the following symptoms:
- Audio and video freezes intermittently.
- Temporary disconnections during meetings.
- Delays reconnecting to conference sessions.
- General application instability while connected to the wireless network.
The issue is intermittent and affects multiple users.
Environment
- Aruba 9004 Gateway
- ArubaOS Version: 10.4
- Aruba AP-635 Access Points
- ClearPass Policy Manager for 802.1X authentication
- Multiple SSIDs (Corporate, Guest, etc.)
Configuration Verification
We have reviewed the current configuration and observed the following:
- RADIUS servers are configured correctly.
- Four ClearPass servers are configured.
- RADIUS communication uses ports 1812/1813.
- APs are broadcasting all expected SSIDs.
- Allowed RF channels appear normal for the configured regulatory domain.
- No obvious configuration inconsistencies were identified in the running configuration.

The issue primarily affects real-time collaboration applications including:
These applications are sensitive to latency, packet loss, and roaming interruptions.
Troubleshooting Performed
- Verified AP BSS table.
- Verified allowed RF channels.
- Reviewed RADIUS server configuration.
- Verified running configuration.
- Confirmed ArubaOS version.
- No obvious RADIUS configuration issues were identified.
