  • 1.  ArubaOS-CX NAC and WoL question

    Posted Aug 10, 2021 12:17 PM

    Hi Community

    I recently set up a couple of new ArubaOS-CX switches (6100 models with SW version 10.07.0010) and I was wondering how I can configure NAC ports such, that

    Wake-on-Lan (WoL) is working. Unfortunately, I could not find any option similar to "aaa port-access controlled-direction in" we know

    from ArubaOS-S switches.

    Does anyone of you have a clue how to deal with it? Is there any workaround available in order to enable WoL on ports which are NAC enabled?

    Regards,
    Thomas

    Have you checked this - https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/AOS-CX/10.06/HTML/5200-7771/index.html#GUID-8D0B85E0-A4EB-4F6A-9A32-777B9F39F603.html

    Syntax

    port-access allow-flood-traffic {enable | disable}

    Description

    Enables or disables transmission of flood traffic, such as broadcast, multicast, and unknown unicast messages through a security enabled port on which no client has been authenticated.

    By default, transmission of flood traffic is disabled.
