    Hello guys as far i remenber i had backups on demand on the airwave so everytime i change something on my sswitches for example i added a vlan i get a backup, it was not like this?   I havent configure airwave in a while but i remenber that i had a lot of backups in for the switches and i could see them all.

    Now on my mini lab im changing stuff but i dont see thats happening, i dont see that its backing up my switch
    When does the switch backup happens? i am wrong that it does not happens on demand? i remenber that i didnt have to configure anything, i do remenber that i had a lot of backups there for every switch i had.

    Any ideas of what could be happening?

    By default, Airwave does daily Audit (can be editable). Is Audit enabled to switch group? If so, with daily audit, if there's config difference, there will be auto backup taken.
    The default backup doesn't happen with every change. If audit is enabled and the backups doesn't happen, there needs to be a TAC case to check.
    On Demand backup us manual to collect the backup as and when needed.

    By default, Airwave does daily Audit (can be editable) ( in which part is editable?)

    So if there is no change in the config in the switch there will be no backup.  There will be backup only if there is change in that day, right?

    By default Audit happens daily. We can set that to hourly or twice daily or never under AMP Setup > General page.
    Please note - setting it hourly or twice a day may add extra load on the server as this is global setting and affects all devices.

    w.r.t backup, yes, the backup happens if there is a config change from previous day/audit.

    You will get backup on demand on every change when you make a configuration change with snippets. In this case Airwave will backup configuration before and after the change so you can check the differences.
