Wired Intelligent Edge

My question regards transferring a call to someone who you know is not there.  For instance, if I take a call and need to transfer it to another person, but I already know that person is not there, I want to make it so that the phone goes straight to voice mail and DOES NOT ring at all.  Is this possible?

I know there is a timer setting to make the phone silent, which would probably take care of what I want, but I would like an answer to this question as well if anyone has one.

While on call press feature + 441, then extension number,

then hang up.

Another option is to map a button to "Xfer VMail'.. then all you have to do is press button, enter users extension, hangup
