The Dell units don't work with my new Aruba 225 OEM units. I was told that this is by design. So, what are my options? 

Unfortunately you cannot. You would need to acquire one or the other.

I saw a post you made earlier, suggesting to flash the Dell 105s with OEM firmware. This prompted me to make this post. Is there a chance that it may work?

They now run a slightly different firmware. In the early days, they were just rebranded. You can try to flash them at your own risk.

This will also cause support issues if you need TAC assistance.  The support is through Dell but they will see Aruba SW on the IAP.

it works to flash an aruba iap 105 and 135 to dell firmware and back. It works also to flash an dell with aruba firmware (sometimes for tests i do it ...) (dell have no cloud id ;-) )

I´ve never test this with iap 225 or ap 225

You have no support form dell or aruba for this ...

do this on your own risk!!!
