  • 1.  Can I upgrade or downgrade Aruba Central license?

    Hello everyone

    I am using Aruba Central and have a question, can I upgrade the foundation license or downgrade the advanced license? It will be appreciated if anyone can provide the way and the rule.

    Are you asking if you can assign one or the other to a device? Or migrate the license from, foundation to Advanced or visa versa?

    Hi Dustin

    I mean to change the level of license itself, not change the license of devices. Just like the Meraki Controller, they can upgrade the license from Enterprise to Advanced Security, but will lose half of the remaining time on the upgraded License Key. Do you know if Aruba Central can do the same thing? How to do that?

    You can change the license level if you have both foundation and advanced licenses in your account. I believe more features like co-termination are coming later this year. Probably if you reach out to your local Aruba partner or Aruba sales team, they can work with you on a custom solution that has the same effect.
